NCAA Game Summary - Indiana at Michigan

Final Score: Indiana 78 - Michigan 64

Ann Arbor, MI (Sports Network) - D.J. White had 21 points and pulled down 22 rebounds as 10th-ranked Indiana cruised past Michigan, 78-64, in a Big Ten matchup at Crisler Arena.

White added two blocks and a steal while Eric Gordon poured in a game-high 23 points for Indiana (13-1, 2-0 Big Ten), which has won nine in a row. The win streak is its longest since the 1992-93 campaign.

Jordan Crawford chipped in 11 points and seven rebounds in a winning effort.

Manny Harris paced his club with 19 points and DeShawn Sims tallied 16 for the Wolverines (4-11, 0-3), who have dropped five straight.

"Indiana is a good team. They do a good job of executing their plays and recruiting good players. They came out and competed with all fifteen of their guys today," Sims said.

The Hoosiers hit 50 percent of their three-point attempts in the opening half en route to a 37-31 lead at the break.

The key sequence was a 14-2 burst by Indiana, which White capped with a bucket with 6:26 on the clock for a 29-13 advantage.

Michigan ripped off seven straight points in response to slice the lead to nine, and inched even closer before the end of the half.

Indiana quickly re-established a double-digit lead in the second stanza, however, and continued to pull away as the half wore on.

"We can't hurt ourselves. We had a nice run at the end of the half. We came out in the second half and had a few turnovers. We had shots but we just didn't make them," said Michigan guard C.J. Lee.

On the strength of a 12-2 burst, polished off by A.J. Ratliff's triple, the Hoosiers claimed a 61-39 lead with about 11 1/2 minutes remaining.

The visitors were not threatened the rest of the way.

Behind White's monster effort, the Hoosiers outrebounded the Wolverines 51-33 on the night.
