NCAA Game Summary - The Citadel at UNC Greensboro
Greensboro, NC (Sports Network) - Kyle Hines scored 22 points on a perfect 10- of-10 shooting from the floor to lead the UNC Greensboro Spartans to an 84-54 win over The Citadel Bulldogs in a Southern Conference showdown at Fleming Gym.
Kevin Oleksiak also got involved for the Spartans (9-4, 3-1 SoCon), tallying 11 points and six assists in the win.
The Citadel (5-9,0-5) was paced by Austin Dahn's 12 points, while Tyrell McDowell chipped in with 12 points and seven assists.
UNCG jumped out to a quick lead, shooting 19-of-35 from the floor in the first half to take a 47-18 advantage at the break.
The Spartans put the game away in the second stanza, shooting 55.6 percent from the field en route to the 30-point win.
The Spartans dominated the Bulldogs in the post, outscoring The Citadel 40-12 in the paint.
