NCAA Game Summary - UC Riverside at UC Davis
Davis, CA (Sports Network) - Vince Oliver scored 16 points to lead the UC Davis Aggies to a 58-54 victory over the UC Riverside Highlanders in Big West Conference action at The Pavilion.
Shane Hanson added 12 points in the win for UC Davis (7-7, 1-0 Big West).
Sean Cunningham was the only player in double-figures for the Highlanders (3-10, 0-2), as the forward posted 22 points in the setback.
The Aggies shot a solid 50.0 percent from the field in the first half and went into the break with a 31-22 advantage.
Despite shooting a mere 32.0 percent from the floor in the second stanza the Aggies went on to post a four-point victory.
It was the first-ever Big West Conference victory for UC Davis.
