Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Stanley Burrell tallied contest-high 15 points and dished out five assists, as the Xavier Musketeers cruised past the Virginia Cavaliers, 108-70, in a non-conference showdown at the Cintas Center.
Drew Lavender had 13 points and eight assists for the Musketeers (11-3), who saw seven players reach double figures. B.J. Raymond and C.J. Anderson each posted 12 points, while Charles Bronson and Josh Duncan tallied 11 points apiece. Jason Love contributed 10 points and six rebounds, as Xavier cracked the century mark for the second straight game.
Sean Singletary guided the Cavs (10-3) in defeat with 14 points and seven assists. Solomon Tat notched 12 points and Mike Scott logged 10, as Virginia had its four-game win streak snapped.
The Musketeers shot an unconscious 66.7 percent from the field, including an 11-of-15 effort from long range in the first half, opening a commanding 61-30 lead at the break.
