Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Jon Brockman registered a double-double with game highs of 21 points and 11 rebounds as the Washington Huskies ran away from Idaho State, 82-50, in non-conference play at Bank of American Arena.
Also scoring in double figures for the Huskies (9-4), winners of five in a row, were Justin Dentmon, Venoy Overton and Tim Morris with 10 points apiece.
The Vandals (3-10), losers of five of the last six contests, were paced by Amorrow Morgan who dropped in 13 points as the only double-digit scorer for the visitors.
In addition to shooting 51.9 percent from the field, 5-of-11 beyond the arc and 6-of-8 at the free-throw line in the first half, the Huskies also kept Idaho State from making a single trip to the charity stripe, resulting in a commanding 39-25 advantage at the break.
In the second half Washington continued to dominate by shooting 14-of-27 from the floor yet again and 6-of-12 behind the three-point line in the 32-point triumph.
The Huskies forced 18 turnovers, controlled the glass (36-24) and made 11-of-23 out on the perimeter, compared to 5-of-12 for the Vandals on the afternoon.
