Hofstra (7-14) at William & Mary (12-9)

GAME NOTES: Winners in eight of their last nine, the William & Mary Tribe are set to host the Hofstra Pride tonight in Colonial Athletic Association action. The Pride enter tonight's contest touting a 7-14 ledger this season, including a 4-7 mark in the CAA. Hofstra has found some success of late, however, taking victories in three of its last four outings. The Pride most recently pulled out a 64-58 decision against Delaware on Saturday. As for William & Mary, the Tribe are coming off a 70-66 win over UNC-Wilmington on Saturday night, marking the club's second consecutive win. The Tribe stands at 12-9 on the season, and owns an 8-2 mark in league action. Hofstra leads the all-time series between these two clubs, holding a 9-2 advantage at the moment.

The Pride is led by All-America candidate Antoine Agudio, who is averaging a stellar 22.6 ppg this season. Charles Jenkins represents the only other double- digit scorer on the team currently with his 14.6 ppg. Aguido scored 26 points to lead Hofstra in its six-point victory over Delaware on Saturday, as the Pride used a 50.0 percent effort from the floor during the second half to down the Blue Hens. The Pride held Delaware to a mere 35.7 percent shooting effort, and won the battle on the boards by a 40-34 margin.

William & Mary set a school-record for three-point field goals attempted in a game (39), converting 13, in Saturday's four-point victory over UNCW. The Tribe shot just 39.7 percent from the field overall, but overcame that cool hand by converting 16 takeaways into 24 points. Five players reached double figures in the win, led by John Sexton and Laimis Kisielius who tallied 15 points each. Nathan Mann added 11 points, while Peter Stein and David Schneider netted 10 points and collected five rebounds apiece. Kisielius leads the Tribe in scoring this season, averaging 12.3 ppg. He is joined in double figures by Schnieder and his 11.2 ppg. Mann and Danny Sumner have also been solid, however, tallying 9.7 and 9.5 ppg, respectively.

The Tribe has been red-hot of late, while Hofstra has struggled to string wins together this season. Give the advantage to surging William & Mary here, especially at home where the team owns a 7-3 ledger.
