Wisconsin-Green Bay (11-8) at Wright State (12-6)

GAME NOTES: The Wright State Raiders get a three-game homestand started tonight, as they host the Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix in Horizon League play at the Nutter Center. The Raiders wrapped up a successful three-game road trip on Saturday by upending Detroit 66-57. The victory capped off a perfect three- game road trip for WSU, which improved to 12-6 overall and 5-4 in conference play. The team now returns back to the Nutter Center, where it has gone 6-3, including 2-2 against league foes. As for UWGB, it concluded a three-game homestand by defeating Youngstown State, 66-58, on Saturday. It was the second win in a row for the Phoenix, who stepped up to 11-8 overall and 5-4 in conference play. The squad though, now heads back out to the road, where it has won just twice in nine tries. UWGB downed WSU, 52-49, earlier this month, giving it a 20-16 edge in the all-time series between the two teams.

UWGB connected on 44.2 percent of its attempts from the floor and 16-of-20 at the foul line, as it posted a 66-58 victory over Youngstown State. The team also clamped down on defense, forcing 17 turnovers and limiting Youngstown State to sub par 38.0 percent shooting effort from the floor. Ryan Tillema led the way for the Phoenix with 14 points and six rebounds, while Mike Schachtner and Rahmon Fletcher chipped in with 11 points apiece. For the season, Schachtner tops the roster in scoring at 17.2 ppg and he is also snaring 4.8 rpg. Tillema is second in line with 11.9 ppg and he is knocking down 41.6 percent of his attempts from long distance. As a whole, UWGB is producing 70.1 ppg and shooting 45.5 percent from the floor and 77.5 percent at the foul line.

The Raiders forced Detroit into 12 turnovers and they tallied 19 points off those miscues en route to a 66-57 victory. WSU sank 45.1 percent of its shots from the field and it also held a 16-12 edge in free-throw points. Todd Brown led the charge with 18 points and seven rebounds, while Scottie Wilson and Jordan Pleiman finished with 14 and 13 points, respectively. For the season, Brown is the team's leading scorer at 15.0 ppg and he is also grabbing 4.4 rpg. Vaughn Duggins nips at his heels with 10.3 ppg and he is trailed by Pleiman, who turns in 10.3 ppg and 6.1 rpg. Wilson rounds out the double- figure scorers at 10.1 ppg and he is ripping down a team-high 6.8 rpg. Overall, the Raiders are netting 65.8 ppg courtesy of 39.9 percent shooting from behind the arc.

Both teams appear to be evenly matched, so that should make for a tightly played affair. WSU though, is a bit more balanced and that should help it prevail in this one.
