Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) - Jason Richardson scored 30 points as the Charlotte Bobcats beat the Toronto Raptors, 110-98.
Raymond Felton added 17 points and eight assists, while Jared Dudley had a career-high 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Bobcats, who snapped a five-game losing streak. Matt Carroll scored 15 points and Emeka Okafor donated 14 points and 15 boards for Charlotte.
"I just thought we played as a cohesive unit, and played hard pretty much for 48 minutes," said Charlotte head coach Sam Vincent.
Anthony Parker scored 24 points and Rasho Nesterovic 16 for the Raptors, who have dropped two straight. Toronto All-Star forward Chris Bosh missed the game because of a sore right knee. He could be sidelined for a week.
"(They had) 32 points on the offensive glass. No more to say," said Toronto head coach Sam Mitchell. "We didn't box out, we didn't do the tough things. They just beat us up on the glass."
Charlotte took control of the game in the third quarter with an 18-2 surge. Felton sparked the run with a three-point play, tying the game at 62 with 7:52 left in the quarter. The Bobcats then went ahead for good on Carroll's three 22 seconds later.
Felton's three with 4:42 left in the frame capped the run and gave Charlotte a 77-64 advantage.
Richardson scored 13 points in the third quarter, which ended with Charlotte holding an 82-70 advantage.
Toronto was able to get within 98-89 with 4:47 remaining but the Bobcats answered with a 9-0 run. Carroll's jumper began the run and Dudley followed with a three. Okafor added a dunk and Dudley made two free throws to give Charlotte a 107-89 lead with 2:05 to go.
Toronto started the game with a 12-4 run in the opening 4 1/2 minutes and led 32-22 heading into the second quarter.
Charlotte fought back and Carroll's layup with 42 seconds left put the Bobcats up 48-46. Jamario Moon, though, put the Raptors ahead 49-48 at the half with a buzzer-beating three.
