NBA Game Summary - Utah at Memphis

Final Score: Utah 113 - Memphis 92

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - Carlos Boozer scored 18 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead the Utah Jazz in a 113-92 victory over the lowly Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum.

Kyle Korver and Mehmet Okur scored 17 points apiece for the Jazz, who have alternated wins and losses for the past seven games. Okur added 13 boards, as the Jazz have defeated the Grizzlies in each of their last five tries.

Ronnie Brewer and Andrei Kirilenko chipped in 16 points each, while Paul Millsap gave 14. Deron Williams had 13 points and 19 assists in the victory.

Rudy Gay scored 20 points for Memphis, which has dropped eight in a row and 14 of 15 overall. Juan Carlos Navarro and Hakim Warrick each ended with 17 points, as Warrick added 13 rebounds. Darko Milicic grabbed 11 boards to match his 11 points.

After opening the game on a 7-0 run, Memphis was up 28-22 after the first quarter.

However, the Jazz took the lead 53-49 at intermission.

Six straight Memphis points tied the game at 57 just past the eight-minute mark of the third. Warrick's layup closed out the scoring, and he had four total points on the spurt.

Moments later, a Gay dunk pulled the Grizz to 66-64 with a shade under four minutes to play in the third stanza. But the Jazz ended the frame on a 12-4 run, which Brewer closed out with a bucket.

Back-to-back treys from Gay and Brian Cardinal set off a 10-2 Memphis run, and two free throws from Milicic closed the scoring out and made it 82-80 with 8:25 left.

The Jazz outscored the Grizzlies 16-3 in the next five or so minutes to take a 98-83 advantage. Okur and Millsap closed out the scoring rampage with back-to- back three-point plays with 3:41 left in regulation.

The Jazz were never seriously threatened down the stretch.

"They came up with the plays down the stretch that they needed," Warrick said. "They just executed. Every shot that they needed, they hit it."
