Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Mickael Pietrus came off the bench and scored a game-high 23 points, as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 119-97.

Stephen Jackson and Monta Ellis each had 21 points for the Warriors, who have won six of their last eight games. Brandan Wright added 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while Baron Davis had a game-high 10 assists for Golden State, who has won nine of its last 11 home games.

"I think it's very important for us, off the bench, to come out very focused because we have a lot of games to go before the playoffs and I think we need everybody, that's what we did last year the last 20 games, said Pietrus. "We really stuck together and try to play the best basketball as we can and we did."

Andre Miller scored a team-high 18 points and pulled down six boards for the 76ers, who had a two-game winning streak snapped. Willie Green and Louis Williams each scored 17 points for Philadelphia, who has lost six of its last eight road games. Andre Iguodala pitched in with 15 points.

"It's tough when you get down," said Iguodala. "You try to speed it up and play right into their hands. I think we struggled to get back in transition and once we couldn't hit a shot we started quick shooting and from there we played into their hands."

Golden State opened the first quarter red-hot, a Jackson running layup with 5:41 left, capped a 15-2 run to start the game. The 76ers didn't help themselves, as they missed their first 14 shots of the night. However, Philadelphia bounced back, cutting the deficit to eight, 26-18 by the end of the first quarter.

With 7:24 left in the second quarter, Thaddeus Young made a put back layup to bring the Sixers within five at 37-32, which was the closest Philadelphia got the rest of the game. Al Harrington immediately extended Golden State's lead to 11 after he hit back-to-back three pointers. The Warriors kept the pressure on the rest of the half as they took a 67-52 lead going into the break.

In the third quarter, the teams exchanged baskets and the Warriors led 90-73 heading into the final 12 minutes of play.

Golden State's lead grew to 94-73 after Jackson hit a hook shot with 10:51 left to play. Philadelphia responded by going on a 7-0 run to bring the deficit down to 14.

The Sixers continued to battle and cut the lead down to 11 at 106-95 after Iguodala hit a foul shot with 3:30 remaining, but is wasn't enough. A Pietrus three-pointer sparked a 13-2 run over the final 3:07 of the game.
