Portland, OR (Sports Network) - Brandon Roy scored 20 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out 11 assists as the Trail Blazers outlasted the Knicks, 94-88, in overtime at the Rose Garden.
Steve Blake added 19 points and LeMarcus Aldridge ended with 17 for Portland, which has won two of three. Travis Outlaw also finished with 13 points and Jarrett Jack added 12 off the bench, including a critical pair of free throws in the final moments of the extra session.
Zach Randolph scored 25 points for the Knicks, who have dropped the first four games on their five-game road trip, and have lost six of their last eight overall.
Randolph, who led the Blazers in scoring and rebounding in three of the last four seasons, returned to Portland for the first time since the Blazers traded him to New York last summer.
Entering overtime with the game tied at 81, both teams traded shots. The Knicks pulled in front by two, but Portland answered with an Aldridge free throw, as he made one of two from the line, and Outlaw followed with a driving dunk off a Knicks' turnover for an 86-85 Blazers lead.
Jack then made it 88-85 with a lay in, and following a Nate Robinson jumper at the other end, Roy added a tip shot that gave Portland a 90-87 lead. Jamal Crawford missed a three, but the Knicks got the offensive rebound and a loose ball foul, getting a point back at the charity stripe. However, with 13.7 seconds left, Jack sealed the win for Portland with a pair from the line.
Robinson ended with 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists for New York, which was just 2-of-17 from three-point range in the contest. Crawford was 1-for-11 from beyond the arc, but chipped in 13 points in the loss. David Lee also donated 14 points and 15 boards.
The Knicks held a 28-24 lead at the end of the first quarter, and a 49-38 lead at the half.
Portland turned the tide in the third quarter though, and on a 21-6 run, tied the game. Martell Webster ignited the rally with a dunk, while Roy's emphatic slam with 4:30 remaining eventually knotted the game at 61.
The Knicks were solid the rest of the way, though, answering with an 8-2 run to make it 69-63 head to the fourth.
The Blazers continued to battle, and Jack's driving layup made it a one- possession game, 81-79, with just 1:27 remaining. However, Roy missed a potential game-tying jumper with 40 seconds to play, and following a team timeout, there was just 17 ticks left in regulation.
Portland quickly got the ball into the hands of Roy following the inbound pass, and with 5.6 seconds on the clock, he knocked down the tying shot from just inside the arc, making it 81-all.
The Knicks had one last chance for the win, but Randolph's shot bounced off the top of the rim.
