NBA Game Summary - Charlotte at Golden State

Final Score: Charlotte 96 - Golden State 127

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Monta Ellis scored 21 points to lead six Warriors in double figures, as Golden State dismantled the Charlotte Bobcats, 127-96, at ORACLE Arena.

Stephen Jackson had 19 points and seven assists for the Warriors, who have won two straight and four of five overall. Mickael Pietrus and Andris Biedrins tallied 15 points apiece, while Kelenna Azubuike chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds.

The Warriors' bench contributed a season-high 69 points in the club's largest margin of victory this season.

"It was awesome," said Golden State's Baron Davis, referring to the win. "The young guys played really well."

Emeka Okafor recorded a double-double with 20 points and 18 boards for the Bobcats, who have lost two straight. Raymond Felton netted 16 points and Jason Richardson, facing his former team for the first time since a draft-day trade, finished with 10 points and four assists.

"This team (Golden State) is really fast and unless you're exceptionally quick getting back on transition defense, they're going to run by you," said Charlotte coach Sam Vincent.

With under four minutes left in the first quarter and the Bobcats in front 19-17 courtesy of a Okafor jump shot, Golden State closed the frame on a 15-4 run to go up 32-23.

The Warriors carried the momentum into the second, going on a 19-2 burst that broke the game open. Golden State scored the first seven points of the frame, and Nazr Mohammed's step back jumper stopped the bleeding momentarily, but Azubuike hit a runner and drained a three to make it 44-25.

Then Ellis sank a layup and Jackson knocked down a trey before Ellis capped the flurry with another lay-in to put the Warriors ahead 51-25.

Golden State led 69-48 at halftime.

Felton's driving layup trimmed the deficit to 75-61, but Pietrus' three- pointer pushed the lead back to 23, 88-65, with five minutes remaining in the third.

The advantage grew to 101-69 at the end of the third and the Warriors coasted to the finish.
