NBA Game Summary - LA Clippers at Utah

Final Score: LA Clippers 88 - Utah 106

Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Carlos Boozer led a balanced Utah attack with 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Jazz cruised to their fifth win in six tries, 106-88, over the Los Angeles Clippers at EnergySolutions Arena.

Deron Williams had 15 points and six assists and Andrei Kirilenko went for 13 and seven rebounds for Utah, which bounced back from a 120-108 loss at the hands of the Denver Nuggets Thursday night by continuing its home dominance of the hapless Clippers.

Utah has now won an astounding 35 of 36 games over the Clips in Salt Lake City, and four of its last five over Los Angeles overall.

Ronnie Brewer and Mehmet Okur scored 12 points apiece, Matt Harpring dropped 11, and Jason Hart added 10 off the bench for the Jazz, now 17-3 as the host on the season.

Corey Maggette had a team-high 20 points, while Chris Kaman scored 16 to go with his 16 boards for the Clippers, who were put away by the middle stages of the third quarter and ultimately lost for the fifth time in six games.

Sam Cassell finished with 16 points and six assists, while Tim Thomas had 11 and five rebounds and Brevin Knight contributed 10 points - mostly in garbage time after the outcome had long been decided.

Utah closed the first period strong, and led 34-23 going to the second. A 12-3 Jazz run capped by Paul Millsap's lay-in pushed the lead to 50-31 with 5:17 to go in the half, and it was a 59-45 at the break.

LA pulled back within 10 on Sam Cassell's jumper, which made 63-53 with 9:14 left in the third. But Utah continued its torrid shooting, and led 88-71 by the end of the period.

The Clippers had no problems getting points, but couldn't come up with nearly enough stops and never got closer than within 15 in the final stanza.
