NBA Game Summary - Toronto at New York

Final Score: Toronto 99 - New York 90

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Chris Bosh scored 40 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Toronto Raptors over the New York Knicks, 99-90, at Madison Square Garden.

Bosh shot 14-of-30 from the field and hit 12-of-15 free throws, as Toronto has won two straight. Jamario Moon added 13 points and nine boards and Anthony Parker scored 13 with eight rebounds for the Raptors, who have won 11 of their last 14 against the Knicks dating back to the start of the 2004-05 season.

"We're just trying to come out and play aggressive," Bosh said. "A lot of looks were there for me, and I just tried to stay aggressive."

Jamal Crawford scored 27 points to lead the Knicks, who have dropped two in a row after breaking a seven-game losing streak. Nate Robinson added 24 points off the bench for New York, which continues to have internal problem.

Starting forward Zach Randolph ended the game without scoring a point, playing only 10 minutes before getting into a verbal exchange with head coach Isiah Thomas on the bench early in the second quarter. Randolph, who missed both of his shots, sat the rest of the game, not coming out for the halftime shoot around and sitting on the end of the bench the rest of the contest.

Thomas said he wanted to go with a smaller, quicker lineup to get back into the game.

"(I was) a little frustrated," Randolph said. "I wanted to play. He (Thomas) felt like going with that lineup.

"It's frustrating. It's real frustrating. You want to win, it's real frustrating when you're losing."

Fellow starter Quentin Richardson also spent most of the game on the pine. He played only six minutes, also going scoreless, as his struggles continue. Since the start of January, Richardson has yet to score more than five points in a game, hitting just 2-of-15 shots over the six-game span.

Toronto scored 17 of the first 21 points of the game and pretty much cruised from there. Bosh scored 13 first-quarter points, tallying eight of the final 10 points of the frame for Toronto, as the Raptors carried a 27-17 lead into the second.

"We took control early on," Bosh said. "That was our main focus. We wanted to put the pressure on them."

New York cut the deficit to 29-24 following a Renaldo Balkman layup 1:28 into the second, but the Raptors quickly regained control by scoring the next five points for a 10-point lead.

Later, an 11-3 run by the Raptors gave the club a 13-point cushion. Jose Calderon had five points during the run, capping it with a jumper at the 1:16 mark that allowed Toronto to cruise into the break with a 55-46 lead.

The Raptors continued to keep their distance from the Knicks throughout the third quarter. Ahead 66-57, Toronto scored 15 of the final 22 points of the stanza to carry an 81-64 cushion into the fourth. Bosh scored six points and Kris Humphries tallied five during the surge.

Toronto kept New York at bay during the final 12 minutes, as the Knicks never drew within single figures until the final minutes. Down, 89-72, New York went on a 16-6 run to get within 95-88 when Robinson hit a layup with 1:30 left, but the Knicks never got any closer.
