NBA Game Summary - Philadelphia at Toronto

Final Score: Philadelphia 96 - Toronto 109

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Anthony Parker scored 22 points and Chris Bosh added 21 in just 25 minutes as the Toronto Raptors used a dominant third quarter to pull away from the slumping Philadelphia 76ers, 109-96, at Air Canada Centre.

Jose Calderon had 17 points to go with his nine assists, Carlos Delfino came off the bench to score 12, and Jamario Moon had eight points and nine rebounds for the Raptors, who used a 55-percent shooting effort to snap a two-game losing streak.

Willie Green led Philadelphia with 18 points, while Andre Iguodala and Thaddeus Young added 16 apiece. The Sixers were outscored 27-16 in the third quarter, and fell for the fifth straight time.

"I am upset that we are not playing up to our ability late in games," Iguodala said. "Sometimes we get down in the game mentally. It is just tough losing, that is what it is."

Having led by just two at the half, Toronto used a three-point barrage in the second half to extend its advantage, and Philly never really recovered.

Parker hit a pair from beyond the arc, sandwiching a pair of Andre Miller free throws and extending the cushion to 62-54. After a Reggie Evans hook shot brought the Sixers back within eight, Calderon drained a three-ball from the top of the key to make it 73-62 with just under four minutes to go in the quarter.

Toronto made three more three-pointers in the fourth, and Philly never got closer than within five.

For the game, the Raptors hit 9-of-21 from beyond the arc, and had 27 assists on their 43 field goals.

"We shot the ball well and we made some good plays down the stretch, and to me it was beautiful," said Toronto head coach Sam Mitchell. "We are trying to get easy baskets which opens other things up."

Miller finished with 14 points and seven assists for the Sixers, while Lou Williams contributed 10 off the bench and Evans ended up with six points to go with his nine boards.

Toronto hit seven of its first eight field goals to take a 19-14 lead, but an 8-0 Sixers run helped Philly go to the second quarter even, 25-25. Bosh sat for much of the opening 24 minutes after picking up two early fouls, but the Raptors still took a 52-50 lead into the half.
