(Sports Network) - The Detroit Pistons will try to stop a three-game losing streak on the road when they pay a visit to the Minnesota Timberwolves this evening at the Target Center.

Detroit is 22-15 as the visitor and last won away from Motown on March 7 at New York. The Central Division-champion Pistons, who are seeded No. 2 in the Eastern Conference, have won two straight overall and six of their last nine games.

In Saturday's 85-71 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers at The Palace of Auburn Hills, Richard Hamilton scored 14 points, while Chauncey Billups and Jason Maxiell each ended with 13 for Detroit. Antonio McDyess and Tayshaun Prince chipped in 12 points apiece, as the Pistons sit six games off Boston's lead in the East.

Hamilton is probable for Tuesday's game with a sore left hip.

Minnesota is only a few games away from closing out a disappointing season, and will wrap up a short two-game homestand on Tuesday.

The Timberwolves put the brakes on a two-game slide with Sunday's 110-103 victory over the Utah Jazz in the opener of the homestand. Al Jefferson had 22 points and Ryan Gomes scored 17 points for the Timberwolves, who extended their home winning streak to four games.

Corey Brewer finished with 16 and seven rebounds, while Rashad McCants chipped in 16 points off the bench for Minnesota. The T'Wolves are 14-23 as the host in 2007-08.

Tuesday's game between Detroit and Minnesota is the first of two meetings this season. The Pistons are scheduled to host the Timberwolves on April 15 at The Palace of Auburn Hulls.

Both teams split a pair of meetings last season, while Detroit has won four of the last six contests in the series.

Detroit has lost 10 of its last 13 at Minnesota.
