(Sports Network) - The Philadelphia 76ers will wrap up a short road trip this evening, when they pay a visit to the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.
Philadelphia opened its two-game road trip with an improbable 83-82 victory over the Eastern Conference-powerhouse Detroit Pistons Wednesday at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Andre Iguodala scored 22 points and Rodney Carney added 16 points off the bench for the Sixers, who have won five of their last six games and remain seventh in the East standings.
Reggie Evans chipped in 12 points and 11 rebounds for Philadelphia, while Andre Miller had 10 points before leaving in the fourth quarter after aggravating a lower back contusion. Miller is probable to play tonight.
In other injury news for the 76ers, guard Willie Green (back) will miss Friday's game.
The 76ers, who are 14-19 as the guest this season, have won four in a row and five of six away from the Wachovia Center.
Meanwhile, the Bulls are also in the postseason hunt and sit just a half-game behind New Jersey for the eighth and final playoff spot in the East. They will close out a brief two-game homestand on Friday and have won three straight in the Windy City.
In Tuesday's 108-96 win over the Utah Jazz, Drew Gooden scored 24 points and had 10 boards to lead the charge. Ben Gordon added 19 points off the bench for Chicago, which snapped a two-game skid and improved to 15-15 at home.
Bulls guard Chris Duhon (disciplinary) is questionable for Friday's game.
The 2007-08 season series between Philadelphia and Chicago is tied at a game apiece, while the Bulls have won three of the last four meetings.
