(Sports Network) - The Philadelphia 76ers will try to extend their home winning streak to eight games this evening, when they host the Seattle SuperSonics at the Wachovia Center.
Philadelphia has won seven in a row as the host and owns a 16-14 record in the City of Brotherly Love this season. The Sixers have won two straight overall, four of five and 10 of their last 13 games, including Monday's 106-80 blowout of the Los Angeles Clippers in the finale of a three-game road trip at the Staples Center.
Andre Iguodala scored 18 points and Lou Williams came off the bench for 16 more as the 76ers concluded their west coast trip with a 2-1 mark. Rookie Thaddeus Young and Willie Green each scored 13 points, while Samuel Dalembert totaled 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Sixers, who won the final two contests of the swing after starting with a loss at Golden State on Friday.
The 76ers, who have scored at least 100 points in 11 of their last 12 wins, are riding the longest home winning streak since going 10-0 as the host to start the 2002-03 season.
Green (knee) is probable for Friday's game.
Seattle, meanwhile, will resume a lengthy seven-game trek on Friday and owns a 6-24 mark away from the Emerald City this season. The Sonics have dropped two straight, five of six and 15 of its last 17 road games.
In Wednesday's 118-106 setback to the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center, rookie sensation Kevin Durant scored 23 points to pace the Sonics, who have dropped two straight overall and six of their last seven contests. Earl Watson scored 17 points and tallied eight assists in defeat.
The Sonics will also visit Toronto, Indiana and Boston on the current trip.
Seattle and Philly are playing the second and final meeting of the regular season tonight. The Sixers recorded a 98-90 victory in the first matchup on December 31 at KeyArena, as Iguodala scored 25 points to lead the charge.
Philadelphia has won three straight and five of the last six encounters with the SuperSonics, who have lost two straight trips to the Wachovia Center.
