Minnesota Timberwolves (12-48) at Sacramento Kings (27-34), 10 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The woeful Minnesota Timberwolves play the middle contest of a three-game road trip when they visit the Sacramento Kings tonight at ARCO Arena.

This is the third and final meeting of the season between the clubs. The teams split the first two contests.

The Timberwolves have won two of the last three games in the series, but Minnesota has lost two of its last three at Sacramento.

Minnesota has dropped five straight games and were handed a 105-76 thumping by Utah Wednesday at EnergySolutions Arena. Deron Williams scored 21 points and dished out 11 assists as the Jazz extended the NBA's best home win streak to 17 games.

Randy Foye led Minnesota with 18 points and Kirk Snyder netted 16 for the Timberwolves, who have lost seven of eight and 12 of their last 14 games overall. Al Jefferson posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds in defeat.

The Timberwolves, who also have dropped six in a row as the visitor, are a dismal 2-26 on the road this season. They will visit the Clippers Saturday at the Staples Center.

The Kings will attempt to halt a two-game losing streak. On Wednesday, Al Thornton scored 27 points and Corey Maggette netted 25 as the Los Angeles Clippers beat Sacramento, 116-109, in two overtimes at the Staples Center.

Beno Udrih scored 25 points and Mikki Moore netted 20 for Sacramento, which has lost six of its last seven overall.

Sacramento is 18-11 at home this season. The Kings will visit superstar Kobe Bryant and the Lakers on Sunday at the Staples Center.

On the injury front for Sacramento, forward Ron Artest (sore right foot) and guard Kevin Martin (bruised right thumb) are both questionable to play this evening. Artest and Martin, who leads the Kings in scoring (22.6 ppg), both did not play against the Clippers.
