Atlanta Hawks (24-35) at Charlotte Bobcats (22-39), 7 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats will try to extend their season high winning streak to four games when they close out a short homestand versus the Atlanta Hawks this evening down south.

The Bobcats have won three in a row for the first time since winning four straight from February 14 - 23 of last year. They kept the winning streak intact with Wednesday's 118-109 victory over the Golden State Warriors in the opener of the stand at Charlotte Bobcats Arena, as Jason Richardson poured in a season-high 42 points to lead the way.

Richardson spent six seasons with the Warriors before being traded to Charlotte last summer. He finished two points shy of his career-high. Raymond Felton added 22 points and Jared Dudley posted 10 points and a career-high 18 rebounds for the Bobcats, who have won two straight and three of four at home and own a 17-17 record as the host this season. Emeka Okafor registered 16 points and 11 rebounds in the win.

In injury news for the Bobcats, guard Derek Anderson (knee) is questionable for Friday's game against Atlanta. Forward Gerald Wallace has missed six games after suffering his fourth concussion. Wallace led the team with 20.6 points per game before he got hurt, and could return next week.

Meanwhile, the Hawks will wrap up a brief two-game road trip this evening. They are just 7-23 as the visitor this season and have dropped four straight and 11 of their last 12 contests on the road.

Atlanta has dropped three straight overall, including Wednesday's 116-101 setback to the Hornets at New Orleans Arena. Joe Johnson scored 24 points and Mike Bibby added 21 for the Hawks. The Hawks have won just three of 10 games with Bibby in the lineup.

Josh Smith and Josh Childress donated 12 points each in a losing effort.

The Hawks lead the 2007-08 season series with the Bobcats by a 2-1 margin. Charlotte, though, has won nine of 13 and 10 of the 15 meetings.

Atlanta has lost four straight and six of the seven meetings at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
