(Sports Network) - LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers will hit the road for two games, starting with the New York Knicks tonight at Madison Square Garden.
The Cavs will also visit the Chicago Bulls on the trek and are 15-16 away from home this season. They will try to stop a two-game slide as the visitor this evening in the Big Apple.
Cleveland has won two straight overall and five of its last seven games, including Sunday's 95-86 victory over the Bulls at Quicken Loans Arena. James scored 37 points and Wally Szczerbiak added 17 for the Cavaliers.
This was the first meeting between the teams since they were both involved in a blockbuster three-team trade. On February 21st, Cleveland acquired forward/center Ben Wallace and forward Joe Smith from the Bulls, as well as swingman Szczerbiak and guard Delonte West from the Seattle SuperSonics.
Chicago received guards Larry Hughes and Shannon Brown, plus forwards Drew Gooden and Cedric Simmons from the Cavaliers, while Seattle picked up former Cavs Ira Newble and Donyell Marshall as well as forward Adrian Griffin and a 2009 second-round draft pick from Chicago.
New York will try to stop a three-game slide when it resumes a four-game homestand tonight. The Knicks suffered a 100-88 loss in the opener of the stand on Monday versus the New Orleans Hornets, as Jamal Crawford paced his team with 20 points and six assists and Eddy Curry scored 19 points.
Nate Robinson netted 17 points in a losing effort for New York, which has dropped five of seven and 14 of its previous 18 contests. The Knicks will also host Detroit and Cleveland, and are 12-18 as the host in 2007-08.
In injury news for New York, forward Zach Randolph is questionable for Wednesday's game against Cleveland because of a bruised right foot.
Wednesday's showdown between the Cavs and Knicks is the third and final meeting of the regular season. Both teams have split two meetings so far, while New York has won seven of 11 and eight of the last 13 matchups.
Cleveland has lost two straight and five of its last six trips to Madison Square Garden.
