(Sports Network) - The disappointing Chicago Bulls welcome the woeful Memphis Grizzlies tonight to the United Center.
This is the second and final meeting of the campaign between the squads. On January 21st, Mike Miller and Rudy Gay scored 24 points apiece to lead the Grizzlies to a 104-90 victory over the Bulls at FedExForum.
Memphis has won two in a row in the series. The Grizzlies have lost three straight at Chicago.
The Bulls attempt to halt a two-game losing streak tonight. On Sunday, LeBron James scored 37 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated Chicago, 95-86, at Quicken Loans Arena.
Larry Hughes scored 23 points and Tyrus Thomas finished with 12 points for the Bulls, who have lost four of their last five games overall. Drew Gooden, Joakim Noah and Ben Gordon ended with 11 points apiece for Chicago, which shot just 39.2 percent from the floor.
Chicago is 12-15 at home this season. The Bulls are scheduled to host the Cavaliers on Thursday at the United Center.
Memphis has dropped a season-worst eight straight games and has lost 13 in a row on the road. Carlos Boozer scored 18 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead the Utah Jazz in a 113-92 victory over the Grizzlies on Saturday at FedExForum.
Gay scored 20 points for Memphis, which has dropped 14 of its last 15 games overall. Juan Carlos Navarro and Hakim Warrick both contributed 17 points, while Warrick pulled down 13 rebounds and Darko Milicic notched a double- double with 11 points and 11 boards.
On the injury front for Memphis, Miller has been sidelined with a pinched nerve in his back. Miller, who is doubtful for tonight's game, has missed six straight games. The Florida product is averaging 16.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game this season.
The Grizzlies are 4-24 on the road this season. They will return home to host New Jersey on Wednesday and Boston on Saturday.
The last time Memphis was victorious on the road was on January 2nd against the mighty Boston Celtics at TD Banknorth Garden.
