Charlotte Bobcats (20-39) at Minnesota Timberwolves (12-46), 8 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Minnesota Timberwolves will try to stop a three-game slide when they wrap up a brief homestand tonight versus the Charlotte Bobcats at the Target Center.

Minnesota opened the stand with Sunday's 111-108 setback to Seattle in overtime, as Al Jefferson totaled 30 points and 12 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who have lost 10 of their last 12 games.

Rashad McCants had 18 points off the bench, while Craig Smith added 15 points in a reserve role. Minnesota fell to 10-21 as the host in the process.

On the injury front for the T'Wolves, guard Marko Jaric (knee/thigh) is doubtful for Tuesday's game.

Charlotte, meanwhile, is back on the road where it owns a dismal 4-22 record this season. It has dropped nine in a row away from Charlotte Bobcats Arena this season.

In Sunday's 110-98 home victory versus the Toronto Raptors, Jason Richardson scored 30 points and Raymond Felton added 17 points and eight assists for the Bobcats, who halted a five-game slide and won for just the second time in 14 tries. Jared Dudley had a career-high 17 points and 10 rebounds in the win.

Charlotte guard Derek Anderson (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's game against Minnesota.

Tuesday's showdown between Charlotte and Minnesota is the first of two meetings this season. The Timberwolves are slated to visit the Bobcats on April 8 in North Carolina.

Both teams split a pair of games last season, while Minnesota has won three of the last five encounters.

Charlotte has lost two of three matchups on the road in this series.
