New Orleans Hornets (39-18) at Washington Wizards (28-30), 6 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Washington Wizards open a two-game homestand against the New Orleans Hornets today at the Verizon Center.

On Friday, Antawn Jamison scored 17 points and pulled down 15 rebounds, as the Wizards erased a 20-point deficit on the way to a 97-91 win over the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.

Andray Blatche scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and Roger Mason also scored 17 points off the bench for the Wizards, who have won three of their last four games overall. Antonio Daniels added 16 points and six rebounds, while Darius Songaila ended with 14 points for Washington, which opened the second half with a 22-1 run to claw back into the game.

Washington is 16-12 at home this season. The Wizards will host Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic on Wednesday in the finale of the current homestand.

New Orleans begins a brief two-game road trip. On Friday, Chris Paul scored 24 points and dished out 16 assists as the Hornets defeated the Utah Jazz, 110-98, at New Orleans Arena.

David West added 25 points and 13 rebounds for the Hornets, who snapped a four-game skid against Utah. Peja Stojakovic chipped in 20 points, while Jannero Pargo netted 15 off the bench.

The Hornets are 19-8 on the road this season. They will visit the New York Knicks on Monday at historic Madison Square Garden.

This is the second and final meeting of the campaign between the squads. On February 25th, DeShawn Stevenson scored a career-best 33 points and hit the winning shot from beyond the arc at the buzzer, boosting Washington to a 95-92 victory over the Hornets at New Orleans Arena.

The Wizards have won two in a row in the series. The Hornets have lost three straight at Washington.
