(Sports Network) - The surging Philadelphia 76ers open a three-game road trip when they visit the Golden State Warriors tonight at ORACLE Arena.
This is the second and final meeting of the season between the clubs. On November 24, Kelenna Azubuike nailed a three-pointer from the left corner with 6.2 seconds left in overtime, boosting the Warriors to a 100-98 win over the Sixers at the Wachovia Center. Monta Ellis had 31 points and Baron Davis netted 22 in the victory for Golden State.
The Warriors have won four in a row in the series. Philadelphia has lost two straight and five of its last six at Golden State.
Philadelphia starts its swing on a two-game winning streak. Andre Miller scored 26 points, grabbed six rebounds and handed out nine assists as the Sixers downed the Orlando Magic, 101-89, Wednesday at the Wachovia Center.
Willie Green scored 26 points for the Sixers, who won their seventh straight game at home. Andre Iguodala had 24 points and seven assists for Philadelphia, which has won eight of its last 10 games overall.
The Sixers are 10-18 as the visitor this season. They will face Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns on Sunday at US Airways Center. Philadelphia will wrap up its road trip on March 3 against the Clippers at the Staples Center.
Golden State plays the fourth of a five-game homestand and is 2-1 on the residency. On Tuesday, Ellis scored 30 points to lead the Warriors past the Seattle SuperSonics, 105-99, at ORACLE Arena.
Davis scored 20 points, dished out 10 assists and collected seven steals for the Warriors, who have won five of their last seven games overall. Stephen Jackson scored 17 points, while Mickael Pietrus netted 11 in the victory.
The Warriors are 19-10 at home this season. They will host the Portland Trail Blazers Sunday at ORACLE Arena.
