New York Knicks (18-39) at Atlanta Hawks (23-32), 7:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The New York Knicks will start a short two-game road trip tonight, when they pay a visit to the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena.

New York will also visit the Orlando Magic and is just 6-22 away from Madison Square Garden this season. The Knicks have dropped two straight and three of its last four games as the visitor.

The Knicks have alternated wins and losses over their last eight games, and recorded a 113-89 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday in the Big Apple. Nate Robinson scored 22 points and Jamal Crawford added 20 to lead the Knicks, who got 14 rebounds from David Lee.

Zach Randolph tallied 18 points, Quentin Richardson 17 and Fred Jones 12 points in the win.

Meanwhile, the Hawks will wrap up a quick two-game homestand on Friday versus the Knicks. They opened the stand with Wednesday's 123-117 victory over the Sacramento Kings, as Mike Bibby tied a season-high with 24 points and dished out 12 assists in his home debut against his former employer.

The Hawks acquired Bibby from the Kings on February 16, swapping Shelden Williams, Lorenzen Wright, Tyronn Lue and Anthony Johnson for the veteran point guard. This marked the second time Bibby faced Sacramento in nearly two weeks since the trade. On February 20, Bibby's return to ARCO Arena was spoiled in a 119-107 loss.

Joe Johnson poured in 26 points in the win, while Josh Childress scored 25 points off the bench for the Hawks, who won for just the second time in their last 10 contests.

In team news for Atlanta, guard Acie Law (wrist) is doubtful and forward Marvin Williams (flu) is questionable for Friday's game against New York.

Friday's game between New York and Atlanta is the first of four meetings this season. The Knicks went 2-1 last season and have won 11 of 15 and 13 of the last 18 meetings.

New York has lost 10 of 16 and 11 of its last 18 at Atlanta.
