Utah Jazz (28-18) at Washington Wizards (24-20), 8 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Utah Jazz will try to extend their season-high winning streak to seven games when they begin a two-game road trip against the Washington Wizards tonight at the Verizon Center.

The Jazz will also visit Memphis and are 8-15 away from Salt Lake City this season. They recorded their sixth straight win with Wednesday's 100-89 victory over the New York Knicks at EnergySolutions Arena, as Deron Williams scored 22 points and dished out 12 assists to lead the way.

Carlos Boozer tallied 17 points and nine rebounds, while Paul Millsap scored 15 points and Mehmet Okur added 12 and 11 rebounds for Utah, which has won 10 of its last 11 games overall.

Washington will open a two-game homestand on Friday and is 15-8 as the host in 2007-08. It will also welcome the Los Angeles Lakers to D.C. on the short homestand.

The Wizards have alternated wins and losses over their last six games, and suffered a 122-83 setback to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday at the Air Canada Centre. DeShawn Stevenson tallied 16 points for Washington. Roger Mason chipped in 14 points, while Andray Blatche scored 12 points and grabbed seven boards in a losing cause.

Antawn Jamison had 11 points in defeat, one night after the Wizards earned a 108-104 overtime win over the Raptors at home. In injury news for the Wizards, forward Caron Butler (hip) is questionable for Friday's game against Utah. He missed the home-and-home series with the Raptors.

Friday's game between Utah and Washington is the first of two matchups this season. Both teams split a pair of meetings last season, while Utah has won 11 of the last 17 encounters.

Utah has lost four of its last five games in D.C.
