(Sports Network) - The Indiana Pacers will try to halt their recent slide when they resume a four-game homestand versus the Houston Rockets tonight at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Indiana has dropped four in a row and suffered a 110-104 loss to the Detroit Pistons in the opener of the homestand on Tuesday. Mike Dunleavy ended with a game-high 25 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for Indiana, which has lost three straight at home and fell to 9-11 as the host this season.
Troy Murphy and Travis Diener each scored 18 points, while Danny Granger finished with 16 points in defeat. Indiana will also welcome Orlando and San Antonio to town on the current stand.
On the injury front for the Pacers, guard Jamaal Tinsley is probable for Friday's game with a sore left knee. He has missed the last three games.
Houston will begin a three-game road trip tonight against Indiana, Milwaukee and Minnesota. It is 13-11 as the guest this season and has won five straight away from the Toyota Center.
In Tuesday's 111-107 victory over the Golden State Warriors at home, Yao Ming tied a season high with 36 points and 19 rebounds. Yao scored the final nine points to carry the load for Houston, which has won five of six. Luther Head had 20 points and six assists in a winning effort, while Rafer Alston posted a double-double with 17 points and 12 assists.
McGrady was sidelined with flu-like symptoms and is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Pacers.
Tonight's contests between Houston and Indiana is the first of two matchups this season. The Rockets are slated to host the Pacers on March 5 at the Toyota Center.
Both teams split a pair of meetings in 2006-07, while Indiana has won two of four and three of the last six meetings. Houston has lost two straight after winning its last two games at Conseco Fieldhouse.
