Dallas Mavericks (30-13) at Memphis Grizzlies (13-31), 8 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Dallas Mavericks begin a four-game road trip when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at the FedExForum.

This is the second meeting of the campaign between the clubs. On November 17th, reigning MVP Dirk Nowitzki poured in 21 points and hit the go-ahead free throws with 30.9 seconds left, as Dallas held off the Grizzlies, 108-105, at American Airlines Center.

Dallas has won eight in a row in the series. The Mavericks have won six straight after losing their last two at the Grizzlies.

The Mavericks enter tonight's contest on a three-game winning streak. On Sunday, Nowitzki scored 16 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter as Dallas earned a 90-85 win over the Denver Nuggets at American Airlines Center.

Nowitzki, who ended 12-of-17 from the field, also had 11 rebounds, as the Mavericks won their third straight game and improved to 20-3 at home this season. Josh Howard had 20 points and Jason Terry netted 19 for Dallas, which won its seven straight at home and beat the Nuggets for the ninth time in the last 12 meetings.

Dallas is 10-10 on the road this season. The Mavericks will also visit Boston, Detroit and Orlando on the current swing.

The Mavericks will be without point guard Devin Harris, who underwent an MRI on Monday on his left ankle. The results revealed a bone bruise. The Wisconsin product is expected to miss two-to-three weeks.

Harris, who was hurt in the fourth quarter of the win over Denver, is averaging 14.4 points and a team-best 5.3 assists per game this season.

Memphis will try to win back-to-back games for just the second time this season, as it plays the second of a five-game homestand. On Saturday, Kyle Lowry scored 21 points -- including five in the final 40 seconds of overtime -- as the Grizzlies held off the Los Angeles Clippers, 125-120 at FedExForum.

Rudy Gay ended with 34 points and 12 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who snapped a two-game skid despite the absence of Pau Gasol for a second consecutive night. Gasol missed Memphis' 104-93 loss to Washington on Friday night because of a sore back and is listed as day-to-day.

The Grizzlies are 9-14 at home this season. They will also host the Celtics, Pistons and Magic on the homestand.
