(Sports Network) - The Phoenix Suns wrap up a four-game road trip when the Pacific Division front-runners visit the United Center this afternoon for a matinee with the injury-plagued Chicago Bulls.
Phoenix has gone 2-1 thus far on the trek and comes in having won five of its last six games overall. The team came through in dramatic fashion in its most recent tilt, with Shawn Marion sinking a baseline jumper with 1.1 seconds remaining to lift the Suns to a 110-108 victory over defending Eastern Conference champion Cleveland on Friday.
Steve Nash had 26 points, including seven three-pointers, and dished out nine assists for Phoenix, which improved to 16-9 on the road this season. The Suns will start up a six-game homestand Tuesday against Atlanta.
Raja Bell added 27 points in the triumph, while Amare Stoudamire contributed 22 to the winning effort.
Chicago will be playing the third test of a four-game home stretch today and is a disappointing 9-12 at the United Center. The Bulls will be attempting to rebound from Friday's 90-77 setback to Charlotte in which the club played without its top two scorers.
Ben Gordon sat out his second straight contest with a sprained right wrist, while forward Luol Deng is sidelined indefinitely with recurring tendinitis in his left Achilles.
Gordon, who leads the Bulls with an average of 19.6 points per game, is considered questionable for today's matchup.
Andres Nocioni had a game-high 25 points for Chicago on Friday, while Kirk Hinrich compiled 14 points and eight assists. Thabo Sefolosha finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
Phoenix could be without the services of Grant Hill on Sunday. The oft-injured veteran left Friday's game after just four minutes due to back spasms.
Hill was playing in his third game since missing seven consecutive outings after undergoing an appendectomy earlier this month.
The Suns have won six of their last seven meetings with the Bulls, including the three most recent encounters held at the United Center. Phoenix also defeated Chicago by a 112-102 score in Arizona back in November.
