(Sports Network) - A pair of division leaders square off tonight, as the Orlando Magic shoot for their fourth straight win against the Detroit Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
The Southeast Division-leading Magic posted their third win in a row with Wednesday's 112-85 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum in the opener of a two-game road trip. Hedo Turkoglu scored 26 points and dished out five assists for Orlando, which is 17-9 as the visitor this season.
Dwight Howard notched another routine double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Rashard Lewis also added 16 points in the win. In injury news for the Magic, guard Jameer Nelson (foot) is questionable for Friday's game.
Detroit put the brakes on a three-game losing streak with Wednesday's 86-78 triumph over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center. Richard Hamilton scored 21 points and Chauncey Billups finished with 19 points and five assists for the Pistons, who closed out a three-game trip with a 1-2 mark.
Tayshaun Prince had 16 points in a winning cause. The Pistons will put their 14-4 home record on the line this evening versus Orlando.
Friday's game between Orlando and Detroit is the third of four meetings this season. Both teams have split a pair of matchups so far, while the Pistons have won five of six and nine of the last 11 meetings.
Orlando has lost six straight and eight of its last nine at The Palace.
