(Sports Network) - The Memphis Grizzlies will hit the road tonight against the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center.

Memphis has dropped two of three and seven of its last nine games, including Wednesday's 112-85 setback to the Orlando Magic at FedExForum. Rudy Gay led the Grizzlies with 20 points and eight rebounds in defeat, while Pau Gasol posted 17 points and 11 boards. Mike Conley added 13 points and five assists for Memphis, which will try to stop a five-game slide on the road tonight.

Memphis is 4-16 as the guest this season. On the injury front for the Grizzlies, forward Stromile Swift (ankle) is doubtful for Friday's game against Washington.

The Wizards are back at home where they own a 13-8 record this season. They had a two-game winning streak stopped after Wednesday's 121-85 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena, as Brendan Haywood had a team-high 11 points for the Wizards, who had won five of six entering play.

Antawn Jamison, Caron Butler and Roger Mason each had 10 points in defeat.

Memphis notched a 124-118 victory over the Wizards on November 24 this season at FedExForum. Gay scored 27 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead the Grizzlies, who have won six of nine and seven of the last 11 meetings.

Memphis has lost two of three and four of its last six trips to D.C.
