(Sports Network) - The San Antonio Spurs will try to right the ship this afternoon, when they close out a brief two-game road trip against the Charlotte Bobcats in North Carolina.
The Spurs have dropped two straight and four of their last six games, including Saturday's 83-81 setback to the rival Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center. Tim Duncan had 24 points and 17 rebounds for the Spurs, who fell to 6-9 as the visitor this season.
Manu Ginobili scored 21 points and Tony Parker added 16 points for San Antonio.
Charlotte will resume a three-game homestand on Monday and is 14-11 as the host in 2007-08. It will also host Dallas at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
In Saturday's 105-87 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies in the opener of the homestand, Jason Richardson had a season-high 38 points and tied a career high with 14 rebounds to lead Charlotte to its first-ever victory over Memphis.
The Bobcats had lost the previous six contests to the Grizzlies, dating back to the 2004-05 season. Gerald Wallace finished with 28 points and seven steals in a winning effort.
Charlotte, which has won three of four overall, is unbeaten in its last three games at home.
San Antonio and Charlotte split a pair of meetings last season, while the Spurs have won five of the six all-time matchups.
The Spurs are 3-0 at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
