(Sports Network) - The Portland Trail Blazers will resume a seven-game road trip this afternoon, when they pay a visit to the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena.
Portland is 2-3 so far on the current trip and will also visit the New Orleans Hornets. The Blazers, who are 7-13 away from the Rose Garden this season, suffered a 101-94 loss to the Orlando Magic on Saturday at Amway Arena.
Brandon Roy tallied 25 points and seven assists for the Trail Blazers, who sustained just their fourth loss in 23 games overall. Travis Outlaw ended with 22 points for Portland.
The Hawks will try to put the brakes on a two-game skid on Monday. They were handed an 89-78 loss by the Toronto Raptors on Friday, as Joe Johnson scored 25 points and dished out seven assists for the Hawks.
Josh Smith contributed 24 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, while Marvin Williams added 13 points and nine rebounds in defeat.
In team news for the Hawks, guard Anthony Johnson will miss Monday's game against Portland because of a one-game suspension.
Portland and Atlanta split a pair of meetings last season, while the Trail Blazers have won 10 of 11 and 14 of the last 17 meetings with the Hawks.
The Blazers have also won seven of nine and eight of their last 12 trips to Atlanta.
