Milwaukee Bucks (16-24) at New Orleans Hornets (27-12), 3:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The streaking New Orleans Hornets attempt to extend their winning streak to five games as they host the Milwaukee Bucks today at New Orleans Arena.

This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. Milwaukee is scheduled to host the Hornets on February 13th at the Bradley Center.

The Hornets have won three in a row in the series. Milwaukee has lost six straight and seven of its last eight at the Hornets.

New Orleans plays the third of a five-game homestand today. David West scored 28 points to pace the sharp-shooting Hornets to their fourth straight victory, a 112-84 thrashing of the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday at New Orleans Arena.

Peja Stojakovic added 17 points, while Chris Paul chipped in 14 points and 13 assists for New Orleans, which has won seven of its last eight contests overall. Tyson Chandler finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds in the victory.

The Hornets are 12-7 at home this season. They will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday and the Clippers on Friday at New Orleans Arena.

Milwaukee tries to get back on the winning track this afternoon. Al Harrington scored 27 points to lead the Golden State Warriors to a convincing 119-99 victory over the Bucks at the Bradley Center.

Michael Redd finished with 24 points in the loss for the Bucks, who have dropped four of their last five games overall. Andrew Bogut ended with 21 points and 10 rebounds in defeat.

The Bucks are a dismal 5-18 as the visitor this season. They will host Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday at the Bradley Center.
