Philadelphia 76ers (15-24) at Boston Celtics (31-6), 7:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Boston Celtics will close out a three-game homestand tonight, when they welcome the Atlantic Division-rival Philadelphia 76ers to TD Banknorth Garden.

Boston ended a two-game losing streak with a 100-90 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday. Ray Allen scored 35 points to help the Celtics break out of their brief slump, as their two-game slide as the host also came to an end.

Kevin Garnett finished with 26 points and seven rebounds for Boston, which improved to 17-3 in Beantown this season. After hosting the 76ers, the Celtics will pay a visit to the New York Knicks on Monday at Madison Square Garden.

In injury news for Boston, guard Rajon Rondo (back/hamstring) is questionable for Friday's game versus Philly.

The Sixers, meanwhile, will close out a three-game road trip tonight and are 8-13 away from home this season. They halted a season-high seven-game losing streak with a 111-107 come-from-behind win over the Houston Rockets on Tuesday at the Toyota Center.

Andre Miller had 26 points and Samuel Dalembert added 19 and blocked a shot in the waning seconds to lead the 76ers. Louis Williams scored 18 points and Andre Iguodala had 17 points and seven rebounds for Philadelphia, which also posted its first win of the new year (1-7).

After Friday's tilt in Boston, the Sixers will open a three-game homestand on Saturday versus Toronto, Indiana and Detroit.

The Celtics notched a 113-103 victory over the Sixers on December 5 this season at the Wachovia Center. Boston has won six of the last 10 meetings with Philadelphia, which has won two straight and four of six in Beantown.
