(Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats and New Orleans Hornets put their winning streaks on the line tonight, as they meet at New Orleans Arena.

This is the second and final meeting of the campaign between the squads. On December 28th, David West had 20 points and 10 rebounds and scored six straight down the stretch to help the Hornets knock off the Bobcats, 99-85, at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

The Hornets have won five of the last six contests in the series. Charlotte has dropped all three of its contests at the Hornets.

New Orleans plays the second of a five-game homestand, and attempts to extend its winning streak to four games. Peja Stojakovic scored a game-high 23 points and Tyson Chandler tore down 21 rebounds to go along with 14 points for the Hornets, who breezed to a 123-92 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics on Wednesday at New Orleans Arena.

West scored 19 and grabbed 11 rebounds, while Chris Paul netted 12 and dished out 11 assists for the Hornets, who have won three straight and six of their last seven games overall.

The Hornets are 11-7 at home this season. They will also host Milwaukee, Portland and the Clippers on the current stand.

Charlotte enters tonight's contest on a two-game winning streak. Gerald Wallace poured in 36 points and pulled down 14 rebounds as the Bobcats roared back from a 19-point deficit to down the Orlando Magic, 99-93, at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

Jason Richardson finished with 26 points for the Bobcats, who have won four of their last six games overall. Matt Carroll finished with 13 points off the bench in the victory.

The Bobcats are a dismal 2-12 as the visitor this season. After tonight's contest, they will return home for a three-game homestand. Charlotte will host Memphis, San Antonio and Dallas on the upcoming stand.
