(Sports Network) - The Detroit Pistons will try to right the ship when they open a brief two-game homestand this evening versus the Toronto Raptors at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Since ripping off a season-high 11 straight wins, the Pistons have dropped three of their last five games. They had a two-game winning streak stopped with Sunday's 89-65 loss to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, as Antonio McDyess had 15 points and 13 rebounds in a losing cause.
Chauncey Billups was only other Detroit player in double figures with 14 points. The Central Division-leading Pistons will also host the Sacramento Kings on the homestand and are 13-3 at The Palace this season.
Meanwhile, the Raptors will shoot for their fourth straight win tonight against the Pistons. They recorded a 116-109 double-overtime victory against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday, as Chris Bosh scored six of his 38 points in the second overtime to lead the way.
Anthony Parker added a season-high 25 points for the Raptors. Jose Calderon chipped in 22 points and 10 assists, while Carlos Delfino had 16 points and eight rebounds off the bench in a winning cause.
The Raptors have won two in a row on the road and are 10-9 away from the Air Canada Centre this season.
Detroit posted a 101-85 road victory over the Raptors on January 4 this season and has won two straight, three of four and nine of the last 11 meetings.
Toronto has lost eight straight, 10 of 11 and 15 of its last 20 games at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
