(Sports Network) - The Denver Nuggets will open a short two-game road trip this evening, when they pay a visit down south to the Charlotte Bobcats.
Denver will also visit Atlanta on the road swing and is 7-8 away from home this season. The Nuggets have won four of their last five games overall, including Friday's 113-103 victory over the Orlando Magic at the Pepsi Center.
Carmelo Anthony scored 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while Allen Iverson and Anthony Carter each finished with 21 points for the Nuggets, who own a slim half-game lead over Portland in the Northwest Division.
The Bobcats will resume a three-game homestand on Monday and opened the stand with Saturday's 103-100 overtime loss to the Detroit Pistons at Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
Gerald Wallace had 26 points for Charlotte, which has dropped two in a row and five of seven. Jason Richardson scored 20 points and dished out eight assists, while Emeka Okafor and Nazr Mohammed had 19 points apiece. The Bobcats will also host the Magic and are 11-11 as the host in 2007-08.
In injury news for Charlotte, guard Jeff McInnis (quadriceps) is questionable, guard Raymond Felton (ankle) is probable and guard Derek Anderson (knee) is doubtful for Monday's game.
