(Sports Network) - The Seattle SuperSonics play the second of a four-game road trip when they visit the Washington Wizards today at the Verizon Center.

This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. Seattle is scheduled to host the Wizards on March 26th at KeyArena.

The Wizards have won two in a row and six of the last seven contests in the series. These two teams have split the last 10 meetings at Washington.

Seattle has dropped two in a row overall. On Thursday, Amare Stoudemire collected for 34 points and 11 rebounds and Steve Nash posted 17 points with 10 assists as Phoenix dug out of a large first-quarter hole to down the SuperSonics, 104-96, at US Airways Center.

Rookie phenom Kevin Durant made 11-of-24 shots for 28 points with seven rebounds and Earl Watson contributed a season-high 20 points, seven rebounds and eight assists. Kurt Thomas scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Seattle, which has lost four of five and six of its last eight games overall.

The SuperSonics are 4-12 as the visitor this season. They will wrap up the swing on Wednesday against the New Jersey Nets at the Izod Center.

Washington opens a two-game homestand. On Friday, Antawn Jamison scored a game-high 24 points and grabbed six rebounds as the Wizards crushed the Milwaukee Bucks, 101-77, at the Bradley Center.

Antonio Daniels had 14 points, pulled down five rebounds and dished out five assists for the Wizards, who have won three of their last five contests overall. Caron Butler scored 13 points, grabbed seven rebounds and handed out seven assists for Washington, while Andray Blatche contributed 12 points off the bench in the victory.

The Wizards are 9-7 at home this season. They will host Yao Ming and the Houston Rockets on Tuesday at the Verizon Center.
