American League Game Summary - Cleveland at Chicago

Final Score: Cleveland 2 - Chicago WSox 3

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Orlando Cabrera's run-scoring single capped a stunning two-out, two-run rally in the bottom of the 10th inning as Chicago edged Cleveland, 3-2, in the middle contest of a three-game set at U.S. Cellular Field.

With one down in the top of the 10th, Casey Blake crushed a Matt Thornton fastball deep over the wall in left to give the Indians a precarious 2-1 edge.

Embattled closer Joe Borowski (1-3) came on to try and nail things down in the bottom of the inning. The right-hander managed to get Joe Crede to ground out and then fanned Nick Swisher. But, Alexei Ramirez followed by lofting a towering home run just over the wall in left to deadlock things at two.

Pinch hitter Dewayne Wise kept the inning alive with a single to right and then swiped second before Cabrera laced his game-winning base hit to center.

Ramirez had two RBI in the game for the White Sox, who have won six straight games overall and eight straight at home. Adam Russell (1-0) got the final out in the top of the 10th to earn his first big league win.

John Danks matched Cleveland ace Cliff Lee pitch-for-pitch. The White Sox starter surrendered just one run on four hits in eight strong innings. Danks walked just one and fanned a career-high eight for Chicago.

Blake finished the game 3-for-4 with the homer and a double for Cleveland, which has lost four straight. Kelly Shoppach also homered.

Lee pitched brilliantly as usual for the Tribe. The left-hander, who is 11-1 on the season, allowed just one run on six hits in eight innings and lowered his miniscule earned run average to 2.26.

The ChiSox jumped on top in the second with a run. Jim Thome and Crede started things with consecutive one-out singles before Swisher loaded the bases by drawing a walk. Ramirez followed by lifting a sac fly to center to make it 1-0.

The Tribe finally broke through against Danks in the sixth when Shoppach led off the frame with his sixth home run of the year.
