National League Game Summary - Arizona at Florida

Final Score: Arizona 6 - Florida 2

Miami, FL (Sports Network) - Brandon Webb was effective on the mound to become the first 12-game winner in the majors this season, and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat up on the Florida Marlins, 6-2, in the second of a three- game set at Dolphins Stadium.

Webb (12-4) threw six innings and gave up two runs on five hits while fanning eight and walking three. Juan Cruz, Tony Pena and Brandon Lyon combined to throw three innings of two-hit relief.

"It's good to get that one. It's been awhile since we've had a good game and come out and scored six runs," Webb said. "We did a good job of producing some runs there. That was huge for the team. For me too, to go out there and finally get one under my belt, it's been awhile."

Chris Young went 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBI for the D'Backs, who snapped a three-game slide. Mark Reynolds had two doubles, two RBI and scored twice in victory.

Jorge Cantu had an RBI for the Marlins, who have dropped five of six overall. Cody Ross was responsible for the other Florida RBI.

Andrew Miller (5-7) took the loss as he was touched for six runs -- three earned -- on five hits in 5 2/3 innings of work.

"I feel like, in general, I'm pretty in command of throwing the pitches I want," Miller said. "But (I'm) just not getting the results, which is tough, because I kept the pitch count down and had a really good chance to go deep into the game tonight, and pretty much blew that."

The D'Backs broke the game wide open in the sixth inning. BJ Upton and Orlando Hudson worked one-out walks and a Conor Jackson reached on Mike Jacobs' fielding error to load the bases. Reynolds then belted a two-run double to right before Chris Snyder struck out.

Young kept it going with a two-run triple before Logan Kensing was called on in relief. Augie Ojeda welcomed him to the game with an RBI double and Arizona was sitting on a 6-1 cushion.

The Marlins started inching their way back in the seventh. Matt Treanor was hit by a pitch to lead off the frame and pinch-hitter Jeremy Hermida drew a walk.

Cruz was then called on in relief and got Hanley Ramirez to fly out, but Luis Gonzalez connected on a single to load the bases. Cantu followed by lacing a sac fly to deep right and Florida was within 6-2.

Lyon took over on the hill for the D'Backs in the ninth and got Hermida to ground out to third. Ramirez was caught looking at the third strike for the second out and pinch-hitter Wes Helms was also caught staring to seal the deal.

The Marlins jumped on top, 1-0, early. Josh Willingham led off the second with a single and Dan Uggla walked. Mike Jacobs then went down swinging for the first out, but Ross belted a line drive single to left which scored Willingham.

Arizona knotted it up in the fifth as Reynolds led off with a double and moved to third as Snyder flied out. Young followed with a double to right, plating the runner.
