National League Game Summary - San Francisco at Colorado

Final Score: San Francisco 3 - Colorado 2

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Omar Vizquel's sacrifice fly in the 10th inning drove in the winning run, as the San Francisco Giants rallied to defeat the Colorado Rockies, 3-2, in the rubber match of a three-game set at Coors Field.

Jonathan Sanchez gave up two runs on eight hits in 6 1/3 innings for the Giants. The left-hander struck out five and walked three in a no-decision. The rally made a winner out of Tyler Walker (2-2), who tossed a scoreless ninth.

Vizquel was 2-for-4 with a double and run scored for San Francisco, which has rattled off two straight wins following a season-high, six-game skid. Bengie Molina also had two hits and knocked in a run, while Steve Holm's RBI double in the ninth sent the game into extra innings.

The Rockies wasted a strong performance from starter Ubaldo Jimenez, who scattered three hits and walked two in seven scoreless innings. Brian Fuentes allowed two runs in the ninth to blow his third save. Matt Herges (2-1) surrendered the deciding run in the 10th to absorb the loss.

Willy Taveras doubled and scored a run for Colorado, which has dropped two straight following a three-game winning streak. Matt Holliday and Jeff Baker both knocked in a run.

Down 2-0 in the ninth, Vizquel became the first Giant to advance past first with a leadoff double. A fly out by Randy Winn moved the runner to third and Molina put the Giants on the board with a grounder back through the middle. After Aaron Rowand flied out, Holm tied the game with a clutch, pinch-hit double. Jose Castillo was called out on strikes to end the frame.

"I dropped the ball," Fuentes said. "Ubaldo pitched a good game, kept us in it, and then I faltered near the end. It's just the way it goes."

The Giants carved out the go-ahead run in the 10th. Ray Durham lined a leadoff single to right and Rich Aurilia followed with a walk. A force out by Fred Lewis moved Durham to third, and Vizquel's sac fly put the visitors on top.

Brian Wilson worked around a two-out walk to Chris Iannetta to notch his 14th save.

"That lineup, when they're clicking on all cylinders, they're a force to be reckoned with," Walker said of the Rockies. "For us to fairly limit what they're doing, that's huge for us."

The Rockies jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first. Taveras led off with a single, stole second, took third on a wild pitch and crossed the plate when Holliday hit a broken-bat flare that Sanchez knocked down with the glove, though, recovered in time to get the out at first.

Colorado had the bases loaded in the second and nobody out, but could only manufacture one run on Baker's sac fly. The Rockies had the bags full again in the third, but Sanchez worked out of trouble, fanning Iannetta to end the threat.
