American League Game Summary - Toronto at Cleveland

Final Score: Toronto 0 - Cleveland 12

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Grady Sizemore went 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs and five RBI as the Cleveland Indians crushed the Toronto Blue Jays, 12-0, in the second of a four-game set at Progressive Field.

Victor Martinez went 2-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored while Asdrubal Cabrera added two RBI and two runs scored for the Indians, who have won four of their last five games.

Aaron Laffey (1-2) was solid over seven innings of work as he gave up six hits and one walk with two strikeouts.

Dustin McGowan (2-3) was slapped for nine runs on nine hits in just 3 2/3 innings of work for the Blue Jays, who have dropped their last three games.

The Indians jumped all over McGowan in the first inning to the tune of six runs. Sizemore started off the frame with a blast over the right field fence. Then with runners on first and second, Martinez roped a single to right to score Jamey Carroll. Ben Francisco followed with a sac fly that plated David Dellucci. Three batters later, Cabrera punched a two-run single and Casey Blake followed with an RBI single for a 6-0 advantage.

Cleveland added three more runs in the fourth. With runners on first and second, Sizemore belted a double that scored Cabrera. Three batters later, Martinez hit a two-run single to give the team a 9-0 lead.

Sizemore's three-run home run in the fifth staked the Indians to a 12-0 lead.

Toronto, meanwhile, was unable to establish any offensive pressure. Marco Scutaro led off the third with a double, but was stranded there and he was just one of two Toronto players to reach second base in the game.
