Winter Haven, FL (Sports Network) - Jason Michaels went 2-for-2 and smacked a solo home run as the Cleveland Indians defeated the Washington Nationals, 5-2, in Grapefruit League action.
Josh Barfield hit a solo home run, while Travis Hafner went 2-for-3 with a run batted in for the Indians. Jake Westbrook picked up the win after striking out five over three scoreless innings.
Matthew Whitney tripled and had the only RBI for the Nationals in the loss. Matt Chico received the loss after allowing three runs, on six hits in 3 2/3 innings.
