Vinny Rottino drove in a pair of runs for Milwaukee, while Laynce Nix singled, walked and scored twice. Chris Capuano surrendered six runs on seven hits in his two-plus inning start, but five Brewers relievers combined to allow just two runs on seven hits over the final seven innings.
Josh Hamilton belted a grand slam for the Rangers, and Frank Catalanotto was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Josh Rupe was charged with three runs on one hit and three walks in two-thirds of an inning and took the loss.
