MLB Game Summary - Philadelphia at Detroit, Game Two

Lakeland, FL (Sports Network) - Carlos Guillen belted two home runs, and Justin Verlander hurled three shutout innings as Detroit disposed of Philadelphia, 6-2, in Grapefruit League action.

Guillen finished 2-for-3 and drove in three runs, while Magglio Ordonez also homered for the Tigers. Verlander (1-0) allowed just one hit en route to the win.

Brad Harman was 1-for-3 with an RBI single for the Phillies, who collected just seven hits in the game.

J.D. Durbin (0-1) surrendered three runs on four hits in four innings to pick up the loss.
