MLB Game Summary - Milwaukee at Chicago Cubs
Mesa, AZ (Sports Network) - Gabe Gross' solo home run in the top of the 10th frame gave Milwaukee the lead for good in a 10-6 victory over the Chicago Cubs in Cactus League action.
Tony Gwynn and Mike Cameron hit home runs off Sean Gallagher in the victory. Gabe Kapler finished 2-for-2 with three runs batted in as well. Claudio Vargas toed the rubber to begin the contest, and the hard-throwing right-hander gave up three runs on five hits with a pair of walks and strikeouts over three frames for the Brewers.
Rookie Kosuke Fukudome finished 3-for-3 with his first spring training home run and rookie catcher Geovany Soto clubbed a two-run double in the loss. Ryan Dempster, back in the rotation after a three-season stint as the club's closer, gave up one run on two hits in three innings.
