Five Baltimore players had two hits apiece to bail out starter Jeremy Guthrie, who allowed three runs -- two earned -- and four hits in two innings of work.
Ryan Langerhans and Jason Dubois each knocked in a pair of runs for Washington, and starter Garrett Mock yielded three runs -- just one earned -- on two hits and two walks in 1 2/3 innings.
Washington pushed across five runs in the ninth inning off Lance Cormier, who failed to record an out, but Baltimore got two in the bottom of the frame. Luis Terrero's single drove in Scott Moore with the game-winning run.
