Tucson, AZ (Sports Network) - Paul Konerko went 3-for-4 with four runs batted in to guide an 18-hit attack for the Chicago White Sox in a 12-8 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks in exhibition play.
Joe Crede belted a solo homer, while Jeff Liefer and Chris Getz each drove in two runs for Chicago.
Ehren Wassermann threw 1 2/3 innings in relief to get the victory. Gavin Floyd started for the White Sox and allowed three hits and two runs over three innings.
Emilio Bonifacio had three hits, including a triple, and knocked in two runs for Arizona. Gerardo Parra smacked a two-run homer off Wassermann in the sixth inning, when Arizona scored four times.
However, the White Sox had eight runs over the final three innings to get the win.
Juan Gutierrez was tagged with the loss after surrendering three hits and three runs in one inning. Dan Haren allowed five hits and a run, while fanning four over two frames in the start.
